the Annie B. Gorman path at Smithville Lake (Smithville, MO)is surrounded by diverse terrain prairie grass, dense woods, a rocky shoreline. There are lots of creatures to spy in this habitat (including a stately Blue Heron)

start walking, the paved pathway (for those who prefer rugged hiking trails) will become an afterthought
